Penn Language Center (PLC) offers over 50 world languages and
provides courses in less-commonly-taught languages (LCTLs) and languages for a specific purpose, most of which fulfill Penn's language requirement.

Our mission is to enhance teaching and learning of world languages at Penn, as well as to provide professional development opportunities for graduate students and lecturers. For Penn students, PLC also provides tutoring services and proficiency testing in LCTLs.

Hi there, 

PLC course are not just for Penn students but are also open to the community. To register for one of our language classes, you would have to enroll as a student in the College of Liberal and Professional Studies.
